Richmond Park Minibus named one of Britain’s quirkiest bus routes

Richmond Park Minibus has just been named sixth in the top ten of Britain's quirkiest bus routes
The free, volunteer-run minibus service allows visitors to explore Richmond Park and runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from now until the end of November 2025.
Connecting all the major car parks in the park — including Ladderstile Gate, Richmond Gate, Pembroke Lodge and Isabella Plantation — the route also extends out to Ham Common and Mortlake Station, helping visitors without cars access the various parts of the park.
Fully accessible with both steps and a ramp, the service caters for all passengers. Wheelchair users are encouraged to contact the service in advance by emailing [email protected] to ensure smooth access.
The Royal Parks said: "The Royal Parks are delighted to support this service, which is funded by private donations, as it allows those without access to the park the ability to enjoy the wonders of London's largest royal park."
