More about the comedians:

Aideen McQueen

Aideen McQueen is one of Ireland's top female stand ups, having reached the final of the "funny Funny" comedy competition after just her third gig she started to gig all over Ireland in clubs such as the International and The Laughter Lounge.

She reached the semi finals of the national new act competition 'So You Think You're Funny' held at the Edinburgh Festival in 2014.

Hal Cruttenden

Hal Cruttenden is one of the top comedians working in the UK today, as well as being a highly accomplished writer and actor. Recent television appearances include 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow' (BBC1), 'The Royal Variety Performance 2009 (ITV),'Comedy Rocks' (ITV) and 'The Rob Brydon Show' (BBC2) for which he also worked as a writer. He has also just completed his first national solo tour 'Hal Cruttenden Lively'. In the last year he has travelled to Bermuda for Just For Laughs Comedy, performed to British troops in Cyprus, and travelled to India to perform.

John Ryan

The irresistibly amiable John Ryan uses his acerbic wit and seemingly encyclopaedic knowledge of the world around him to keep any audience on their toes. His East End Irish upbringing gives him the rare ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. No stranger to either the strange or the norm, he will put an amusing spin on any subject matter going. John has a reputation for thinking on his feet and confidently and cleverly adapting his show to any audience. His high energy and warm personality has also helped rocket his health shows into the limelight through ongoing projects with The London Science Museum, Unison and in 2010 with Surrey and Plymouth NHS Primary Care Trusts.

Nathan Caton

Nathan Caton has been active on the UK comedy circuit since the tender age of 19. He excels in combining both personal, confessional material with up-to-date social and political anecdotes. This has won him numerous credits and plaudits over the years and has made him one of the hottest rising young stars on the circuit.

He started comedy while studying architecture at University and within his first full year of gigging he had built up a solid reputation having performed at the Edinburgh Festival, finishing as a runner-up in the Amused Moose Comedy Search and winning the award for Chortle Student Comic of the Year.

In 2006 he continued gigging and was rewarded with a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards, and made his first TV appearances on Richard Hammond's 5 o'clock show and Little Miss Joycelyn, amongst other radio work. In 2007 Caton appeared on ITV2's Comedy Cuts, returned to the Edinburgh Festival to perform in a two-man show, and in October 2007 his comedy pilot The Nathan Caton Show aired on Paramount Television. Caton wrote and starred in the 30-minute show where he guised as different comedy characters and this earned him a Hotshot award from Broadcast magazine.
