A Twickenham café opened up its outdoor area to more than just regulars this week, welcoming an ex-professional footballer in for coffee.

Soccer Saturday Pundit and former professional footballer Paul Merson popped in to SNAX on Church Street and even managed to get behind the barista machine to froth some milk.

Mira at SNAX said: "He was amazing, a genuinely nice guy.

"He came in for coffee and ended up teaching us more about the ways to make coffee which was helpful, we could always learn more!"

SNAX has been enjoying being able to welcome customers back to its outdoor seating area for homemade cake and coffee.

"Our tables are outside again and it's lovely seeing people enjoying our food and delicious cakes as always," said SNAX.
