About: A cult classic of America independent cinema, Jim Jarmusch's 1986 comedy-drama Down By Law stars Tom Waits, John Lurie, Robert Benigni, Ellen Barkin and Nicoletta Braschi.

Waits, Lurie and Benigni are three oddball misfits who engineer a jailbreak in the Louisiana Bayou and then have to overcome each other's petty arguments, foibles and competing priorities in order to escape and survive.
