Thomas's London Day Schools (TLDS), a group of independent schools in south west London comprising one kindergarten and five schools, is looking for a new HR manager following a period of expansion.

TLDS' latest institution, Thomas's College, will be opening this September to its first cohort of secondary-age students on a weekly boarding basis.

The new HR manager will be expected to support the recruitment of staff for the new college, alongside the transfer of current staff from the smaller Putney Vale school, which will be closing with the opening of Thomas's College.

This role will be based at the college in Richmond, and will involve occasional travel to the group's HR office in Battersea.

"Applications invited from experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic HR professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a flourishing, innovative environment," reads the listing.

The Lensbury is looking for new chefs to join their kitchen staff.

Any experienced chef will appreciate working with high-quality ingredients from the resort's local suppliers.

Part-time Receptionist – £13.75 hourly

Waldegrave Clinic in Teddington is recruiting two friendly, competent receptionists to join their team.

The receptionist role is a busy one, tasked with managing 16 practitioners and who see up to 500 patients a week.

Basic computer skills and being an excellent team player are essential, but full training is provided for skills beyond this: "We just need individuals who are willing to learn," says the clinic.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients
  • Telephone enquiries
  • Appointment booking
  • Receiving and logging payments
  • Liaison with practitioners
  • General admin

Hours are to be confirmed, but will average 2 to 3 shifts per week for a total of 12 to 18 hours, and will probably include a Saturday morning. Holiday and sickness cover will also be required.
