1. Gorkem Ozlap Trio - The Jazz Sanctuary

About: Gorkem Ozalp is a London-based guitarist, composer, and bandleader whose music bridges jazz, contemporary improvisation, and global influences.

Born and raised in Turkey, Ozalp completed his musical education in Istanbul, performing in many of the city's prominent venues and gaining recognition within its vibrant jazz community.

In 2023, he moved to London where he began developing new projects and recording his original compositions. Now him and his band are coming to Twickenham to preform tonight.

2. Giacomo Puccini's Manon Lescaut - Opera

About: Rose Opera returns to Normansfield Theatre this spring with Puccini's Manon Lescaut — a passionate tale of love, obsession and heartbreak, performed with full orchestra and chorus.

Running for just five performances between 30 May and 7 June, the production combines large-scale theatrical design, an international cast and some of Puccini's most glorious music.

4. Black Comedy - Orange Tree Theatre

About: Young sculptor Brindsley Miller is on the brink of success.

He is expecting a visit from an influential art collector, whose approval could secure his future, and he is determined to present himself as sophisticated and successful.

The problem? His flat is sparsely furnished, most of the contents borrowed without permission from his neighbour – but when a sudden power cut plunges the building into darkness, Brindsley sees an opportunity.

In the absence of light, he believes his deception will go unnoticed. Unbeknownst to him, the audience can see everything.
