All South Western Railway (SWR) train services from Twickenham station towards London Waterloo are running normally again after being blocked earlier today (Thursday, 4 June).

The disruption to services was due to a trespasser on the railway at Clapham Junction.

Trains were cancelled, delayed or revised because of the problem but according to National Rail the incident was cleared at 11:46pm.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police told Nub News: "Officers were called to Clapham Junction railway station at 11.09am today (4 June) following reports of a trespasser on the tracks.

"Officers attended and conducted a thorough search of the area, however no trace was found."

You can find out more information about SWR's train services via its website here.
