2. Women's Rugby World Cup 2025 - The Turk's Head
About: The Women's Rugby World Cup 2025 is set to begin tomorrow (22 August) with the Red Rosses facing USA.
This year's tournament will be chance for England to go one further than four years ago where they lost in the final to New Zealand.

3. Full Moon in Paris (1984) - Flicks Film Club

About: Full Moon in Paris (Les nuits de la pleine lune), Eric Rohmer's delightful 1984 romantic comedy and the fourth instalment in the director's 'Comedies and Proverbs' series.
The story opens with the proverb "Qui a deux femmes perd son âme, qui a deux maisons perd la raison" ("He who has two women loses his soul. He who has two houses loses his mind.")

4. Artists' Network Night - Orange Tree Theatre

About: Special networking events for artists who are part of the OT Artists' Network: these evenings are for directors, designers, writers and producers, and designed as a supportive network to meet other creatives whilst also hearing from leading industry professionals.
Applications to join the OT Artists' Network are welcomed from artists with professional credits, or/and a higher educational qualification in their field or equivalent practical experience.
This network night features guest speaker Nicola T. Chang. She is an award-winning composer/sound designer for stage and screen.
Her works include the three Olivier-nominated plays: For Black Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When the Hue Gets Too Heavy and A Playlist for the Revolution.
Her credits at the Orange Tree include The Swell, Little Baby Jesus, The Tempest and Shakespeare Up Close.
