The Turk's Head in Twickenham has opened bookings for its festive season, inviting guests to celebrate Christmas with family, friends, or colleagues in one of the area's most loved pubs.

The St Margarets-based pub has announced its Christmas Day menu which features traditional turkey, seasonal starters, vegetarian and plant-based dishes, and indulgent desserts.

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of English sparkling wine and canapés before sitting down to a full three-course meal featuring locally sourced ingredients and classic British flavours.

The Christmas Day menu is priced at £110 per person and includes highlights such as:

• Starters: Roasted celeriac soup, Devon dressed crab, venison pâté en croûte, or baked brie cheesecake.
• Mains: Usk Vale turkey breast with all the trimmings, wild mushroom and celeriac wellington, fillet of beef with braised beef pie, or pan-roasted halibut with caviar sauce.
• Puddings: Dark chocolate mousse, baked Alaska, mulled wine poached pear, British cheese plate, or traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce or custard.

The meal concludes with a mince pie and a choice of hot drinks.

Bookings are now open for Christmas Day, as well as for festive gatherings throughout December.
