Howl Quartet – Thursday, 9 May

Calling all jazz fans – the acoustic Howl Quartet is coming to Twickenham's premier jazz venue, The Jazz Sanctuary.

Howl Quartet takes inspiration from "Howl", Allen Ginsberg's seminal poem. The immediacy of the verse and intense conviction behind Ginsberg's writing reflects the band's approach to composition and performance: dynamic, expressive, and with an emphasis on storytelling through melodic composition and improvisation.

Formed of old friends and collaborators, this co-led acoustic quartet emerged in 2017 through a passion for developing a collective sound. They are set to record their third album later this year.

Bar opens at 7:15pm for the first set at 7:45pm. Food is available to order throughout the gig.
