In a special move for the occasion, Namaste Village will also be open on Monday, 20 October from 5pm to 9pm, despite usually closing on Mondays, so that guests can celebrate Diwali with them.

Diwali, often called the Festival of Lights, is one of the most widely celebrated festivals in India and among Hindu, Sikh and Jain communities worldwide.

It symbolises the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, with families coming together to light lamps, share festive meals, exchange gifts and enjoy fireworks.
