The George on King Street, Twickenham, reopened its doors on 25 September following a summer refurbishment under the care of Morgan Pub Co.

According to the owners, the revamped pub now offers Twickenham's largest beer range, alongside a newly designed beer garden.

The George has also launched Rotisserie & Co, a new food concept centred on rotisserie chicken, developed by Richard "Dick" Morgan and Executive Chef Robin, who brings French influences to the menu.

A new General Manager, William Emery, has also joined the team. With nearly a decade of hospitality experience and a passion for pubs and the local community, Emery is a dedicated beer enthusiast eager to lead The George into its next chapter.

Co-owner James Morgan said: "I'm really excited to finally open the doors.

"Having lived in Twickenham for 14 years and been part of the pub scene here for nearly two decades, I've seen the town centre evolve with so much new development and investment, and it feels like the perfect moment to venture into the heart of it.

"The Sussex Arms has shown me just how special the Twickenham community is, and that's made me even more excited to bring something new into the town centre.

"I've always felt Twickenham needed something like this."

Morgan added: "The George, reopening together with Rotisserie & Co, is a really exciting new step for us.

"The pub has a huge garden, which is brilliant for families, something I value all the more now with a young family of my own, and it's the perfect place for big sporting days too.

"It will also boast the biggest beer range in Twickenham, and honestly, who can say no to great rotisserie chicken?"
