Spooky goings on at The Museum of Richmond

By Rory Poulter 19th Oct 2022

Youngsters are offered the chance to get creative and learn new skills at half-term Halloween workshops offered by the Museum of Richmond.

The Spooky Stained Glass event will allow youngsters the chance to create make 'stained glass' decorations, inspired by the tales of ghosts and ghouls, to dress up their homes.

The workshops will run from 10am to noon on Tuesday through to Friday next week.

Using a mix of real and replica historical objects from the Museum's handling collection, the workshops provide families with a hands on experience where they learn more about the history of the local area, develop new skills by having a go at arts and craft activities, and spend quality time together.

Workshops are aimed at children aged 5-11 years old. For children aged 11 and over, there are more challenging activities available.

The Museum is on the Second Floor of Richmond's Old Town Hall.
