Teen suffers injuries to face and neck in King Street fight

Police were called to an incident in Twickenham in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The fight took place in King Street and a 17-year-old male suffered injuries.

One male was arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody.

A spokesperson from the Met Police said: "Police were called at around 00:20hrs on Sunday, 20 August, to a fight in King Street, Twickenham. Officers attended the location.

A short time later, a 17-year-old male attended Twickenham police station suffering cuts to his face and neck having been struck with a bottle. He was given first aid by officers before being taken to hospital. His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing."
