Tesco St Margarets reopens after 16-day revamp

By The Editor 13th Aug 2021

Tesco in St Margarets reopened this morning after a 16-day closure for a refurbishment.

The Express store has been given a general tidying up and is now looking cleaner and brighter.

A new range of food from world cuisines has been added. It includes Polish, Japanese and Middle Eastern food products which regular Tesco shoppers may recognise in the supermarket's other stores.

A new Costa self-service coffee machine is due to arrive this weekend and will be placed near the lottery and Krispy Kreme donuts counter.

Shoppers are greeted by a striped archway of balloons in Tesco's red, blue and white colours.

Kiran Sudan, area manager for Twickenham St Margarets Express, said: "We're excited to be improving our Twickenham St Margarets Express and the store will reopen on Monday, February 22 to serve customers as normal.

"The store had been refreshed and has brand new fixtures and fittings, along with a new Costa self-service machine and a new range of World Foods to broaden our offer for customers."
