Neighbours describe 'shock and disbelief' after a car ploughed directly into a bedroom window of an elderly woman's ground floor flat in quiet cul-de-sac.

Residents in the street said they were shocked by the incident, but did not know what had happened.

2. Sadiq Khan approves 300 new homes on Feltham green belt for public benefit

Sadiq Khan granted permission for 300 new homes to be built on London's green belt, arguing that the project will deliver a "clear public benefit".

The scheme off Forest Road in Feltham will also involve the restoration of the dilapidated 222-year-old Hanworth Park House, with the new homes built on surrounding woodland.

A resident says a prolific beggar knocked on their door in Twickenham on 1 October 2024 demanding cash despite the man being handed a CBO for anti-social behaviour in and around Surrey. 

44-year-old, Darren Bingham, was issued with the CBO after appearing at Guildford Crown Court back in September 2024.

4. ITV crime drama series to use Twickenham pub in filming

Television broadcaster ITV planned to use The Rifleman pub in Twickenham for its crime drama series Unforgotten.

Neighbours in and around Fourth Cross Road received letters from Mainstreet Pictures on behalf of ITV's own Unforgotten Productions Ltd about filming on 10 June 2024.

5. No buses passing through Twickenham due to road traffic accident

Due to a road traffic accident in Twickenham, no buses were able to pass through Twickenham High Street back on 28 February 2024.

According to reports on social media a road traffic accident took place between a police vehicle and a car, on the junction of King Street.
