Trains between Clapham Junction and Wimbledon delayed until later today

Rail services between Clapham Junction and Barnes/Wimbledon have reopened following an earlier emergency incident, but passengers are still facing delays of up to an hour and some cancellations.
National Rail said the emergency services have now cleared the line, but major disruption is expected until 7pm today (Wednesday, 11 February).
Trains and crew remain out of place, which is continuing to affect timetables.
Passengers have been advised that tickets are valid at no extra cost on alternative routes, including:
Great Western Railway:
- Between London Paddington and Reading
- Between Reading and Basingstoke / Guildford
Southern:
- London Victoria and Epsom and Dorking via Balham
- London Victoria and Portsmouth Harbour via East Croydon
London Underground:
- District line between Wimbledon and Central London
- Northern line between Morden and Central London
London Buses:
- Routes covering Esher, Surbiton, Kingston, Twickenham, Epsom, Dorking, Wimbledon, and Clapham Junction
