A band from Twickenham has featured in popular dating TV show, Love Island All Stars and its official Spotify playlist.

'ZLATS' from non-profit band organisation, Powerjam Band Project in Twickenham, had its record 'Moonrise' feature on the show's 14 February 2025 episode.

The song plays 10 minutes into the episode where the female contestants can be seen heading to the shop to buy food which the male contestants will use to cook dinner with that evening.

Made up of five members, Zack, Lara, Alex, Tess and Scarlett (who's initials make up the band's name), formed two years ago from Powerjam's Band Academy to release 'Moonrise', but have since graduated from the group.

'Moonrise' has also featured on Love Island All Stars' official Spotify playlist, helping to push the record nationally.

Founded by full-time volunteer, Anna Texier, Powerjam Band Project is aimed at 9-19 year-olds who are "budding, serious and young disadvantaged" musicians.

Powerjam supports the young artists in producing, releasing and marketing their songs, as well as retaining full copyrights to their records.

'ZLATS' featuring on Love Island All Stars adds to the long list of achievements Powerjam has gathered over the years, such as its band BlueZd performing at the Royal Albert Hall in November 2024 and featuring on BBC Radio 6 in the past.
