Dangerous giant hogweed has been found in the Crane Valley.

The charity Friends Of the River Crane Environment (Force) works to protect and enhance the open spaces around the River Crane.

Force says there are "several places where it is becoming a major problem" in the local area.

They warned residents of the plant in the following message.

"Giant hogweed is a very dangerous plant which can burn the skin and cause permanent scarring," Force said.

"There are several places where it is becoming a major problem - like this site just below the A4 crossing.

"We'll be reporting this to LB Hounslow. Please avoid contact if you see any."
