A Twickenham drama group is looking for new members to join its autumn programme following the success of its recent showcase at the ETNA Community Centre.

The 3rd Act drama group, part of Richmond u3a, is inviting people to get involved when its new term begins on Wednesday 26 August.

The group creates original productions through collaborative storytelling and says it welcomes people of all experience levels, whether they are interested in acting or working behind the scenes.

As well as performers, the group is particularly keen to hear from anyone interested in sound and lighting, including operating portable equipment, music and simple lighting cues during performances.

Group leader Susy Hodges said: "If you've ever had the itch to perform or help behind the scenes, now is the perfect time to get in touch.

"You'll find no pressure here, simply a fantastic team spirit and the satisfaction of bringing a live performance to the stage."

Weekly sessions will take place at the ETNA Community Centre on Rosslyn Road, Twickenham, from 2pm to 4pm every Wednesday, apart from 2 September.

The group is open to anyone interested in theatre and aims to provide a welcoming environment for people looking to try something new, meet others and develop creative skills.
