Twickenham pub celebrates first birthday with 50% off food

A Twickenham pub is celebrating its first birthday with a special 50% discount on food.

To mark the milestone, The Rose & Lion on 11 London Road, is serving its nationally recognised pizzas and burgers for half price for the entire month of September, apart from 13 and 26.

Speaking to Nub News, partner Steve Orme, said: "We have had an incredible reception from the locals since we opened up a year ago.

"When we first saw this place we got a spark like when you fall in love with someone across the room and we never looked back.

"A big part of our success is down to our incredible staff who create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at The Rose & Lion.

"We want all our customers to leave the pub happier than when they came in."

As part of the promotion, the pub is offering a range of pizza and burger flavours for as low as £9.

Some of the pizzas include Chorizo & Chilli, Garlic Mushroom and Spicy Vodka, while the burgers include the Smash Double Cheeseburger, Chicken Burger and Mushroom Burger.

Orme added: "Our pizzas were nominated in the National Pizza Awards 2026 and I always say to customers that our pizzas and burgers will be one of your top three best you'll ever try.

"Everything is made in house and we source fresh produce. Our meat is brought in from family butchers Macken Brothers in Chiswick."

Aside from food, The Rose & Lion offers various forms of entertainment such as games, live music and live sports.
