A new gourmet kebab shop will open on Monday 7 June on York Street in Twickenham.

German Doner Kebab's giant new shop front has been causing much excitement in Twickenham as it has been fitted out inside over the past few weeks.

The kebab chain describes itself as a "fast-casual dining experience" and Twickenham is its 60th site in the UK.

The opening comes as the company forges ahead with plans to open 47 new restaurants in the UK this year, after opening 12 in 2020.

Daniel Bunce, Managing Director for UK and Europe, said: "We're delighted to officially announce plans to bring the German Doner Kebab experience to Twickenham.

"Our game-changing kebabs are revolutionising the kebab in the UK and we are excited to be bringing a new fast-casual experience to the area, offering great tasting fresh food in a relaxed and modern setting."

German Doner Kebab aims to revolutionise the kebab in the UK by providing a good-quality meal with fresh produce made in front of customers.

The Twickenham restaurant will offer a full dine-in experience, subject to government restrictions, as well as takeaway, delivery, and Click and Collect.
