UPDATE: Police appeal for CCTV or doorbell footage in Strawberry Hill murder investigation

Police have provided an update on the investigation into the murder which took place at Strawberry Hill Station on Monday evening (8 January).

Sadly, a 21-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were also called at 23:56hrs to a stabbing in Alexander Close, Twickenham, where a 16-year-old boy was found with a laceration to his leg.

These incidents are currently thought to be linked.

Police are now appealing for anyone who may have CCTV, Ring Door Bell or Car Cam footage that captured anything suspicious around Wellesley Court, Popes Grove or Alexander Close at around 23:51 on 9 January.

The rest of the update states: "Following the death at Strawberry Hill railway station on 08/01/24 we are increasing patrols in the area. to provide a visible reassurance to the community.

"The incident at Strawberry Hill Station is believed to be linked to another incident in Alexandra Close in Twickenham at around 11.57pm.

"A 16-year-old received a non-life threatening laceration to his leg. He is among one of those arrested in connection.

"Four remain in custody a 19 and a 20 year old man, a 16 and a 15-year-old boy.

"Anyone with information that may help us piece together the moments leading up to this to contact BTP via this link.

"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."

The police added: "If you have any CCTV, Ring Door Bell or Car Cam footage that captured anything suspicious around Wellesley Court, Popes Grove,

"Alexander Close around 23:51 on 08/01/2024 please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 630 of 08/01/24."
