UPDATE: Three released under investigation and one on police bail in Strawberry Hill Murder investigation

Police have released a further update on the Strawberry Hill murder investigation.

The murder took place at Strawberry Hill Station on Monday evening (8 January).

Sadly, a 21-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were also called at 23:56hrs to a stabbing in Alexander Close, Twickenham, where a 16-year-old boy was found with a laceration to his leg.

These incidents are currently thought to be linked.

The update states: "A 19-year-old man, 20-year-old man, and a 15-year-old boy have all been released under investigation.

"A 16-year-old boy has been released on police bail.

It adds: "We have increased our high visibility patrols in the area and are working with our colleagues at Metropolitan Police to provide a visible reassurance to the community. 

"Detectives continue to appeal for anyone with information that hasn't been in touch already to reach out as soon as possible, via this link, or by texting 61016 or calling 0800 405040 quoting reference 630 of 08/01/24. 

"In particular, Detectives are urging for those who live in the vicinity of Strawberry Hill railway station who might have seen or heard something, or captured something on their CCTV, dash-cam, doorbell footage between 11pm on 8 January and 12.15am on 9 January to get in touch.

"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
