A gothic castle in the heart of Strawberry Hill is opening up its gates at twilight for a 90-minute walking tour next month.

Strawberry Hill House, built by 17th Century English Gothic Writer Horace Walpole, is described as a "little gothic castle" and is one of Strawberry Hill's most fascinating tourist attractions.

The house said: "Explore Horace Walpole's castle at twilight for a 90 minute tour of the house, that is gothic and gloomth at this most eerie time of day."

Drinks will be served from 7pm and the tour commences at 7.30pm.
