Whitton Scouts raise funds at Twickenham Green Fair

The 3rd Whitton Scout Group took part in this year's Twickenham Green Rotary Fair on Monday, 26 May 2025 running a bric-a-brac stall to raise funds for the Scouts.
The stall was sponsored by Visiting Angels South Middlesex, a premium home care provider committed to supporting young people and community causes across the local area.
Visiting Angels South Middlesex were recently shortlisted in Richmond's Community Heroes Awards 2024–25, in the category for Business Contribution in the Community—a recognition of their ongoing commitment to making a positive difference locally.
Their support for the Scouts is just one example of how they invest in young people and community initiatives.
All proceeds from the stall will go directly towards Scout activities, helping fund new equipment, camps, and community service projects that encourage personal development, teamwork, and adventure for young people in Whitton, say the Scouts.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Twickenham upon Thames, the fair took place from 10am to 4pm on Bank Holiday Monday, offering a family day out on Twickenham Green.
Following the success of previous years, the 2025 event had a vibrant mix of charity and voluntary group stalls, local arts and crafts, information stands, delicious food and drink options, and live entertainment throughout the day.
This year's fair also forms part of the celebrations marking the reaffirmation of the town twinning between Richmond, Fontainebleau (France), and Konstanz (Germany).
