Six young artists have been chosen by the Mayor of Richmond and the Leader of the Council to design their annual Christmas cards.

After a tough judging session the following young residents' entries were chosen to be used for the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Leader of the Council's Christmas cards.

The winners:

Bo – Age 9 - St Mary's CofE Primary School

Erin – Age 7 - Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Matthew – Age 5 - Twickenham Prep

Ronnie – Age 8 – Trafalgar School

Lydia – Age 4.5 – Trafalgar School

Maya – Age 5 The Russell Primary School

The Christmas cards will be sent to organisations, businesses, and charities that the Council and Mayor have worked with throughout the year.

Cllr Julia Cambridge, the Mayor of Richmond upon Thames, said: "The standard of the entries for my card competition this year was amazing! Thank you to all the children who took part and sent me their entries. All of the young artists showed off their talent and the winning designs look fantastic on my Christmas cards."

Cllr Gareth Roberts, Leader of Richmond Council, added: "With so many wonderful creations to choose from the job of judging was incredibly difficult. Well done to everyone who took part in this year's competition."
