Harlequins have named their squad for Saturday's opening Premiership Rugby Cup match against Hartpury University at The Stoop.

The matchday 23 has an exciting blend of youth and experience with 11 Senior Academy players selected in a squad which features 398 first-team appearances, and three players in line for their Harlequins debut.

Up-front Argentinian prop Santiago Garcia Botta packs down alongside promising hooker Nathan Jibulu and debutant Lovejoy Chawatama. George Hammond and Matas Jurevicius form an exciting second-row partnership, with Zach Carr and Will Trenholm providing firepower on the flanks. Archie White captains the squad from number eight.

The backline features four Senior Academy players, with halves pairing Jake Murray and Connor Slevin, alongside Bryn Bradley at inside centre and Cassius Cleaves on the right wing. Oscar Beard starts on the left wing for his 29th first-team appearance, with Academy graduate Hayden Hyde at outside centre and new signing Cameron Anderson at fullback.

Hooker Jack Musk, prop Jordan Els and back-row Tom Lawday add experience to an exciting group of Impact Players, with second-row Harry Browne and wing Roma Zheng set for their first-team debut.
