Appeal for missing trophies from historic Twickenham fishing club

The trophies of the Twickenham Francis Francis Angling Club, a fishing club along the Twickenham riverside since 1906, have gone missing.
Known for its historic attachment to the region, the club has long considered The Barmy Arms Pub as its headquarters.
However, following an ownership change and subsequent refurbishment of the pub in 2022, the trophies that were securely stored in a locked cabinet were removed without permission.
Efforts to locate the trophies through official channels, including the police and pub management, have so far been unfruitful.
Therefore, a public appeal is being made for any information regarding the whereabouts of these valuable club artefacts.
If you possess any details that can assist in the recovery of the trophies, please reach out in confidence via email at [email protected].
