FACT - every week 3 UK women are killed by men.

FACT - different types of Violence Against Women and Girls are the most reported crimes in Richmond Borough, about double the rate of the next most common category which is car crime.

The Council have recently published its VAWG strategy, and it's good, but it's just 'words on paper' at the moment.

We want to take action and we would like you to join us. Every month, on the first Monday of the month, we hold a vigil on Twickenham Green to pay our respects to the women who have died at the hands of men.

We read out the names of the women who have died since the previous vigil and we discuss issues around ways to end VAWG and reduce the hideous statistics.

Please join us to show that you - like us - take this issue seriously and are horrified by the facts and figures.

We will be beside the Amelie Delagrange Memorial bench on Twickenham Green, starting at 6.30pm this Monday, 3 November. We look forward to seeing you there.
