Meet Eko - The Out of the Deep Blue Sea Giant

As part of the Arts & Ideas Festival, Discover Twickenham BID are bringing an outdoor family spectacle featuring a 13-foot-tall Sea Giant Puppet and a dancer. A moving tale about our earth's climate emergency told through dance, movement and masterful puppeteering.

Autin Dance Theatre's new outdoor show Out of the Deep Blue is a tale told in two parts – an interactive walkabout of the Sea Giant Eko and a physical theatre duet with little Violet. The show dives into the themes of environmental sustainability and the biodiversity crisis featuring a 13-foot-tall Puppet operated by 5 world-class puppeteers and contemporary dancers. With children and family audiences in mind, this magical story is about the power of empathy and collaboration between these 2 beings that speaks to the world at large.

Show times 11:30am, 2pm & 4:30pm with promenade around the streets approx half an hour before each performance
