This is a chance to go back to the basics and get a deeper understanding about wines. Everyone welcome!

If you have read a review or listened to someone describe a wine and thought, I really don't get those flavours? What is the difference between fruity and sweet? Or why are two wines of the same grapes, same regions so very different? This is a session for you. With some great interactive sessions this night brings it all back to basics so that you can have a greater base knowledge of wine. 

This session will include the basics of wine making, how to be able to describe and assess wine to be able to buy better wine, some of the most popular grape varieties and tips on how to read a wine label.

No passport required but ... we are taking a voyage of discovery and you even get a booklet to help you get there.

Note: There still will be a Brouge tasting platter at the end to enjoy with your samples.

This Winemusing Session will include:

• A tasting platter with an assortment of tastes to enjoy with the wines, after the masterclass, put together by the team at Brouge.

• A 40 – 50 min live masterclass about the topic of the day followed by a live (and lively) discussion about each of the wines led by Lisa Johnston.

• Six wine samples, all available locally, with at least one more premium selection. (Note: This is a strictly independent event. Winemusing does not sell wine.)

• Some short tasting notes about each of the wines.
