Fans returned to International rugby for the first time in seven months today at Twickenham.

And the fans had something to cheer about as England got back to winning ways with a 43-29 win over a spirited USA side.

Joe Cokanasiga scored two tries whilst Marcus Smith, Harry Randall, and Jamie Blamire all scored tries on what was their international debut.

Sam Underhill and Ollie Lawrence were also try scorers for England in an intriguing match at the home of rugby.

Jack Carty slotted an early penalty for USA who were playing on Independence Day for the second time in their history.

After that England ran in the tries, with Underhill marking his return to international rugby with a try before Lawrence went over for a score before leaving the field with an HIA.

Two more tries came before half time with Cokanasiga, who scored in the World Cup against USA, showcasing his speed and power to get on the scoresheet twice - with England leading 26-3 at the break.

The start of the second half saw Jamason Fa'anana-Schultz burrow his way over for the away side before Blamire charged down Ruben de Haas' kick to score on his debut.

It was then Randall's turn to get charged down at the other end as Cam Dolan went over for a score.

Randall soon made up for it as he fed Smith for a try underneath the sticks before making a superb one of his own.

USA scored two more tries through Hanco Germishuys and Christian Dyer but they weren't enough to overcome England in the end in front of 10,000 people.
