Aussie pop icon Natalie Imbruglia comes to Hampton Pool next month with tunes that provided the soundtrack to millions of lives.

She is joining the many famous names that have taken to the stage at the unique and much-loved venue that every year puts the sunshine into summer.

The Hampton Pools date is part of a tour that takes in appearances across five countries over the summer and has received rave reviews.

The many other concerts will showcase the music of Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Neil Diamond – and yes this will include 'Sweet Caroline'.

Natalie first stole our hearts over a quarter of a century ago with her chart-topping smash hit cover of the iconic track, Torn.

Since then, she has released six studio albums, and in 2021 she made a triumphant return with her critically acclaimed, Top 10 album, 'Firebird'.

During a remarkable career, the Aussie pop songstress has won eight Aria's, two Brit Awards, one Billboard Music Award and received three Grammy nominations!

Last year, Natalie had a cameo in the final ever episode of Neighbours where she played Beth Brennan through the 90s. And she also won the third series of ITV's UK version of The Masked Singer.

The show – on July 15 – also features Baskery, known as the 'Queens of Banjo Punk'.

The group is made up of three Swedish sisters Greta (banjo, drums, vocals), Stella (double bass, vocals) and Sunniva (guitar, vocals) Bondesson.

Famed for their brilliant live performances, they combine extraordinary musicianship, telepathic sibling harmonies with classic roots and alternative Americana.

They have appeared at some of the world's most renowned festivals such as Glastonbury, Portland Waterfront Blues Festival and Calgary Folk Festival and in 2015 were opened for Robbie Williams' Let Me Entertain You tour.

The venue has hosted a long list of great performers over the past 20 years, including the likes of 10cc, Joan Armatrading; the Lightning Seeds, Lulu, Jason Donovan, Heaven 17, Kid Creole, Courtney Pine and even The Stranglers.

Taking advantage of the natural mini amphitheatre in the pool grounds, the event has grown to six nights - raising in the region of £100,000 each year for the Trust.

While the added bonus for concert goers is the opportunity to enjoy a swim before getting stuck in to their picnics and the performances.

Importantly, funds raised for the event will support the Trust that operates the treasured community pool.

Financial support has become crucial at a time when all pool operators have faced big increases in energy costs.

The Hampton Pool Summer Picnic Concerts started in a modest fashion over two nights in 2002, however its success has seen it grow to the become a key feature of summer in south west London.
