Cafe Randor in Cross Deep, Twickenham has been removed from property website Rightmove as Richmond Council seek new tenants.

Located within Radnor Gardens, the vacant cafe is being marketed on behalf of the council by property consultants Avison Young.

The café comprises a single storey building with a flat roof dating back to the 1930s with a modern metal gazebo providing a covered area for customer seating.

As it stands the cafe is empty (credit: Cesar Medina).

Internally the premises provides a small lobby area leading onto the kitchen and preparation space.

There is no internal customer seating although the covered outside area provides space for approximately 22 covers.

There is a public toilet which is accessed externally to east of the building.

Currently, the cafe facing the River Thames appears abandoned but the building's removal from Rightmove shows the search for new tenants is progressing.

Richmond Council tells Twickenham Nub News: "The Radnor Gardens Café is owned by The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

"The property is currently vacant and is being marketed by the Council's retained commercial property consultants Avison Young."

It adds: "Avison Young anticipate arranging viewings in the next few weeks. Interested parties will be invited to make an expression of interest to the Council which will then be scored.

"Successful parties will then be invited to make a rental offer. The Council is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic tenant who will create a sustainable café business with a focus on serving the local community."
