St Margarets Road in Twickenham is closed southbound as Cadent Gas carries out emergency repairs to a leaking gas main (credit: Nub News).

Drivers in Twickenham are being warned of disruption due to emergency gas works on a busy local road.

A southbound directional closure is currently in place on St Margarets Road, outside number 202, while repairs are carried out to a leaking gas main.

The works are being undertaken by Cadent Gas and are expected to continue until 8 April 2026.

Motorists travelling through the area are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys while the closure remains in place.
