The funeral of a well-loved Twickenham shopkeeper who sadly passed away after an e-scooter crash in July will be held on Monday 16, his partner has said.

Anthony Mumford (Tony), owned a cobbler and key cutting shop, Toe-Knees Shoe Repairs, on Church Street.

On Monday there will be a procession of the hearse and Tony's family through Church Street at 11am.

Tony's partner Cheryl Hobson said: "I would like to personally invite anyone who would like to join Tony's family to come along to share our funny stories about this lovely man and celebrate his life."

The funeral service will be held at 1pm at Easthampstead Park Crematorium, followed by a reception at Easthampstead Park Hotel.

Tony, 53, was riding the e-scooter home from work when the incident occurred on Heath Road on July 15.

He was in a coma for a week before sadly being taken off life support.

Cheryl has asked anyone who wanted to send flowers to the funeral to donate the money instead to the air ambulance crew who tried to save Tony.
