An organiser behind Twickenham's High Tide Festival has launched a fundraiser in support of local homelessness charity SPEAR.

Kevin Jones, who helps run the popular independent music festival, is raising money to support SPEAR's work with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness across south west London.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to the charity, which provides a lifeline to more than 850 people each year through outreach, accommodation and support services.

The fundraiser features live music performances from a line-up of alternative and independent acts on Wednesday, 18 February at The Cabbage Patch pub.

The Intransigents bring post-punk sounds shaped by London roots and international influences, while Poor Performer blend sharply observed, comedic pop with experimental twists. Wounded Lovers complete the bill with jazz-tinged, existential indie rock.

Kevin Jones from High Tide said: "This will be a top night featuring 3 great bands. And we're proud to be supporting SPEAR who do such incredible work helping some of the most vulnerable people in our community".

The fundraising effort comes as organisers confirm the return of High Tide Festival on 26 July 2026. The full line-up for this year's festival is yet to be announced.
