A live music fundraiser at The Cabbage Patch in Twickenham has raised £1,000 for local homelessness charity SPEAR.
The High Tide Ripples event, held last week, drew a crowd of more than 80 people despite cold, wet and windy February weather.
Three local bands performed free of charge, helping to create what organisers described as an "amazing night" of live music.
Opening the evening were Escaped Roots, who played a set of original songs inspired by the classic era of Fleetwood Mac and The Smiths, with touches of R.E.M. and The Strokes.
They were followed by emerging band The Intransigents, delivering a high-energy set of new wave, CBGB-style tracks and debuting some of their latest original material.
The night closed with Poor Performer, whose name belied their performance, treating the audience to a polished and witty set, rounded off with a rousing singalong of 'Pub Friends'.
A raffle on the night also proved popular, with prizes donated by local favourites including Eel Pie Records, The Eel Pie, The Fox, Megan's and Ricardo's Cellar. Organisers said ticket sales for the raffle made a significant contribution to the total raised.
Kevin Jones from High Tide said: "It was an amazing night and very gratifying to have such a large audience on a cold, wet and windy Wednesday night in February.
"The weather delivered a timely reminder of the hardships suffered by those without a home and we are pleased to have made a small contribution to help SPEAR in their incredible work."
Carrie Reiners, Director of Fundraising and Engagement at SPEAR, added: "High Tide's Ripples event last week at the Cabbage Patch was a fantastic success, raising an impressive £1,000 to support SPEAR's work with people experiencing homelessness.
"We are incredibly grateful to Kevin Jones and the whole High Tide team for their energy, passion and commitment in organising such a vibrant evening of live music.
"Our sincere thanks also go to the three brilliant local bands and to all the attendees on the night."
