A private school set to open in Twickenham has submitted plans for new signage.

Dukes Education has put forward proposals to install four advertisements outside the site of Kneller Hall School, which is due to open in September 2027.

Facing the fencing along Kneller Road, the plans include three hoarding signs in varying styles and one corner sign measuring more than two metres in height.

Dukes Education said the signage is "necessary" to inform passers-by of the relocation of Radnor House School to Kneller Hall.

However, one resident has objected to the plans claiming the signs, which have already been installed, are an "eyesore".

They said: "I would like to start my objection to this application by pointing out that these boards, images attached, have been erected since November 2025.

"The one in the attached image is directly outside my house. It is extremely large and is a complete eyesore."

Dukes Education said the signs would only be erected temporarily while redevelopment works at the former military school are completed.

Richmond Council is expected to make a decision on the application by 6 April 2026.
