Richmond Council announces council tax rise to protect services, meet social care needs and support borough's most vulnerable:

Richmond Council is proposing to raise core council tax to address the significant impact social care costs and the homelessness crisis is having on Council budgets.

They propose to increase the core council tax by 2.99%.

Richmond Council announces climate strategy refresh for 2024:

At their Environment, Sustainability, Culture and Sports Committee, Richmond Council reflected on the significant progress made against its 2023 Climate Emergency Action Plan and agreed priorities for 2024.

These new priorities include strengthening partnership work within the community through the launch of a new climate action microgrants programme and refresh of the Richmond Climate Emergency Strategy for 2025-2030.
