A mother has appealed to the Twickenham community for help in tracking down a good Samaritan who made her daughter's day.

Reem Hadj-Lakehal was out shopping in the town centre with her six-year-old daughter Aaliyah.

In a post in the Twickenham Community Facebook group, she explained what happened next:

So today while in Poundland my daughter asked for this teddy which was £3. I said not today having spent a small fortune already. Anyway we proceeded to Iceland and when we went out the shop there was a man whom was in Poundland and said you have left something behind young lady and gave my daughter a bag. He had gone and purchased the teddy for my daughter and has made her very happy. Anyone know this gentleman he had a bike with quite a few things strapped onto the bike and he was wearing a backpack with tennis rackets inside. Just want to say thank you for your kindness. Lots of kind people out there.

Do you know this person? Drop us an email to [email protected] and we'll put you in touch with Reem.
