The Wharf in Teddington is promising a Valentine's Day experience "like no other" this February, with a special evening of food, music and romance overlooking the river.

On Saturday 14 February, the popular riverside restaurant will be setting the scene with candlelight, live music and a specially curated menu designed for sharing.

Couples will be welcomed with chef's canapés and a cocktail before settling in for the evening.

At the heart of the night will be sharing shellfish platters, piled high with fresh seafood, alongside a gourmet menu created to "set hearts alight".

The Wharf says the dishes are designed to encourage lingering over dinner, sharing plates and enjoying the relaxed, intimate atmosphere.

Adding to the ambience, live music will be provided by Andalus, performing a Gypsy Kings-inspired set. The sultry rhythms and evocative sound are set to provide the soundtrack to the evening, complementing the riverside setting.

With the river as a backdrop, soft lighting, exceptional food and live music, the restaurant says the evening is ideal whether it's a first date or a celebration of a long-standing love story.

Tables for the Valentine's event are limited, and early booking is strongly recommended. To book your ticket click here.
