The stunning 2022 edition of Richmond Park Wildlife calendar has been launched in an effort to raise money for conservation projects.

Created by the Friends of Richmond Park, the calendar includes over 40 beautiful wildlife and landscape photos taken in the Park by leading local photographers.

This year the wide array of photographs will be available as either a calendar, including all the collected photographs, for £9.00 or in Christmas card packs of 8 for £5.

The cards and calendar are available to buy online here or from Richmond Park's Visitor Information Centre (see here for opening hours).

The photographs celebrate Richmond Park's most defining trait, its beautiful and varied wildlife from the myriad deer to the rarer owl.

Richmond Park is the home of at least 144 different recorded species of bird and is London's largest site of special scientific interest due to its abundance of fauna and flora.

Despite its origin as a deer-hunting park Richmond Park is currently considered a 'European special area of conservation' and contains over 650 wild deer alongside woodpeckers, squirrels, snakes, frogs and even the colourful parakeet.

The calendars themselves are designed for wall-hanging, measure 29.7 x 42 cm when open and are printed on FSC certified paper.

The Richmond Park Christmas cards, measuring 14 x 14 cm, are available in packs of 8 of each of the 6 designs. They are glitter-free, with no plastic packaging and printed on FSC-certified card. Price is £5.00 per pack.
