More than 1,000 tickets were in Draw 15 of the Richmond community lottery Get Lucky Local and two winners are £25 better off.

Their nominated Good Causes are ETNA Community Centre and Hampton & Richmond Borough Youth FC.

Thirteen other players were lucky enough to win three free tickets for next week's draw when the jackpot of £25.000 is up for grabs as well as other cash prizes of £2000, £250 and £25.

Other community groups to benefit from the not-for-profit lottery include SporTedd, Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club, Whitton Wanders Youth FC, the Get Lucky Local Community Fund, Teddington Hockey Club, Hampton Hill Cricket Club, The Victoria Foundation, Teddington Cricket Club, the Skylarks charity, Friends of Strathmore School and Hampton Hill Theatre.

50p in every pound goes to a local cause and 10 into a general fund to support other community projects.

Teddington Swimming Club, which recently signed up as one of the 54 good causes, is already selling 50 tickets a week which equates to £1300 over the year.

A Get Lucky Local spokesperson said: "Many of the good causes are trying very hard to activate their network of supporters and that is beginning to pay dividends in terms of how much many they can raise. Even a small amount can make a massive difference in these difficult times."
