We chatted to Lee about her life story and how she became an artist, why she loves teaching art in her studio over on Eel Pie Island, and some interesting residencies including one over in Teddington at the National Physical Laboratory.
We couldn't do a round-up of the week without mentioning last weekend's victory at Twickenham Stadium! Twickenham Film Studios released a host of details this week about its plans for the site's redevelopment in a bid to quell residents' concerns around noise, parking and disruption.
A petition has been launched by Richmond and Twickenham Friends of the Earth to close Richmond Athletic Association's gate onto the A316. This is the site where a Whitton cyclist, Mel Seymour, was killed in March. The petition has now reached over 500 signatures.

This is a lovely story! This new hair salon in Whitton has been very popular since opening a few weeks ago, and Co-Owner Tony Galletly told Nub News he is now offering free wash and blow drys to over 65s from Whitton every Thursday in July as a way to give back to the community.
