Wimbledon will be going ahead this summer, but organisers are weighing up "multiple operational scenarios".

Radio Jackie says it's believed that only a third of its usual capacity will be allowed.

And eliminate the queue, one of the main streets leading to the site, Church Road, may have to be closed to help with social distancing.

The All-England Club said: "We are actively engaged in planning for this year's Championships and are considering multiple operational scenarios. These scenarios fall into three broad categories: a full capacity Championships, a reduced capacity Championships, and a 'behind closed doors' Championships, all of which will be influenced by the status of government and public health guidelines. Any potential enhancements to the public health situation, such as the introduction of vaccination programmes, will support us as we develop the detail of these scenarios, but it is naturally too soon to understand the impact at this point in time.

"Our priority is to conduct a safe and secure Championships operation for all our guests and this means regularly reviewing our methods in order to achieve a best practice event. With this in mind, and working closely with Merton and Wandsworth boroughs, we plan to apply for a revised traffic management order during The Championships period. Not only will this enable us to enhance the safety and security of those attending and working at The Championships, we strongly believe it will provide a benefit to the local community, reducing congestion and environmental impact."

Wimbledon 2021 is due to begin on Monday, June 28 and finish on Sunday, July 11.
