Plans have been submitted to install a 20-metre 5G mast in Twickenham (credit: Planning application).

A prior approval application has been submitted to install a 20-metre-high phone mast in Twickenham.

The proposal from Virgin Media O2 seeks to install a 20-metre-tall 5G telecommunications mast, complete with antennas and supporting equipment, on the pavement at the north-east junction of Staines Road and Brinsworth Close, Twickenham.

New business could replace former restaurant in Twickenham

The former Delhi Durbar site on Church Street could soon get a new shopfront (credit: Zoopla).

Plans have been put forward to revamp the shopfront of a vacant restaurant in Twickenham.

Proposals by RZ Legacy Limited reveal a planning application to introduce a new shopfront in the style of the previous business and include a separate residential upper-floor access at 21 Church Street.

A planning application has been submitted for a new chicken shop in the heart of Twickenham.

Proposals for a restaurant at part of the former HSBC Bank site on London Road have been put forward by Flavours of Opulance, from Mr Armon Singh Arora.

5G phone mast could receive an upgrade

Proposals put forward to replace existing 15.5-metre mast on Arlington Road, Twickenham, with a taller 20-metre structure to boost 5G connectivity (credit: Planning application).

Plans have been submitted to upgrade a 5G mast in Twickenham to improve mobile connectivity in the area.

Submitted by Wireless Infrastructure Group, the company proposes to replace its existing cell tower at Arlington Works, Arlington Road with a new one.
