1. To carry out both programmed and responsive refuse & recycling requirements

on a daily basis with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.2. To understand Contract requirements, the specification of all refuse & recycling.3. To identify and understand key performance indicators and ensure that these are met.4. To regularly report to line manager progress on works and any matters which ariseaffecting delivery.5. To work as part of the team, putting forward suggestions and ideas for improvementsin service provision.6. Responsible for the daily inspection and reporting procedure for machinery, prior andon completion of usage, including vehicles.7. Responsible for the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.8. To ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are met.9. To undergo specific training to improve skill levels and knowledge of Contractrequirements as and when defined training is identified as being required or available.10. To maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly members of the public.11. To maintain a presentable appearance at all times.Additional / special features of the role Some previous experience in Refuse & Recycling desirable.
