Mixed Mural Reaction
Plans to create a 30-metre high mural on the side of a Twickenham office block have been met with a mixed reaction from locals.
Iceni Projects has applied for planning permission for the gigantic piece of art, which would be the latest in an international series aiming to promote the "revival of ecosystems".
Plans state the proposed London Road mural - which would be 15.24m by 30.48m - is called 'N6tur3' and has been designed by Street Art for Mankind.
Padel Plans
New padel courts could be coming to Twickenham if plans are signed off by Richmond Council.
The David Lloyd Centre has applied for planning permission to replace three of its existing tennis courts with six padel courts.
Plans show three of the new padel courts at the Staines Road site would have a cover.
Housing Plan Splits Opinion
Objections and notices of support have been made to plans for a former chiropractors in Twickenham to become a new home.
Elstree Land has applied to Richmond Council for planning permission for the scheme which would also see two new houses built behind the unit at The Green.
If approved the scheme would also see an extension built on the side of the existing building, allowing for another home to be built.
